The Springfield Music Club (SMC) is a non-profit organization in Northern Virginia that seeks to foster and promote interest and education in music, and to encourage appreciation of good music in the community. The club serves music teachers and their students, musicians, and music organizations, and music lovers.

SMC is a Senior Club in the Virginia Federation of Music Clubs (http://vfmc-music.org), and a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs (https://www.nfmc-music.org).

In addition to participating in the events and programs of the VFMC and NFMC, SMC offers many “in-house” recitals, festivals, programs, scholarships, and other events for students of all ages to take part in.

For music teachers, musicians, and music lovers, SMC also presents special music programs at monthly General Meetings, and provides many networking opportunities throughout the year.

Please visit the public pages of the website to learn more about SMC programs and how to become a member of the club. Please click on the “New Member Info” link to take your first step towards joining the community. New members are always welcome!
